Coloring Tutorial #3 - Leighton Meester + Note

Note: I made lots of new avies, but I will not post them until Thursday, when I'll be done with my exams...Here's a short coloring tutorial for you though.
We will be going from
to 
Level: Intermediate
The tutorial includes: - Selective Color, sorry
- Fill Layer
-Hue/Saturation Layer
-PSD!
1.Crop your image.
2.Duplicate your base, set it to soft light with the opacity 100%.
3. New Fill layer : set it to exclusion, 100%, and fill with 110303
4. New Selective Color layer:
REDS: -100, 0, -10, 0
YELLOWS: 100,0,100,0
NEUTRALS:20,-10,-18,-10
5. Make a new Hue/Saturation layer - set the REDS to 15.
6. Repeat the step 3 twice!
7. Now make a New Selective Color layer:
REDS: 100, 0, 100, 0
YELLOWS: -100, 0, -100, 0
8. Once again repeat the step three.
9. Make another Hue/Saturation layer - set the REDS to 35.
OTHER EXAMPLES:
Comment if you use, credit is welcome, but not necessary but do not tell that the tutorial or the icons belong to you, cause, well, we both know they don't. Haha :D

Hey guys! I made new coloring tutorial.
How to get this
coloring?
1. Crop your image.
2. Duplicate your base, set it to soft light with the opacity 100%.
3. Make a new fill layer , set it to exclusion, 100% and fill it 110303.
4. New Hue/Saturation layer, set the RED to 35
5. Selective Coloring Layer:
REDS: -100,47,100
YELLOWS:100,47,-10
That's it! :)
IMPORTANT:
THIS COLORING WON'T WORK ON EVERY ICON.
TRY CHANGING
a)-SELETIVE COLORING LAYER:
-DON'T DO SELECTIVE COLORING LAYER AND IF YOU WANT ANOTHER STEP -> MAKE A NEW FILL LAYER, SOFT LIGHT 50% AND FILL WITH SOME LIGHT COLOR. :)
-b)HUE/SATURATION LAYER:
set saturation to 15 or 20
-or don't do this step at all if your image has lots of red
c)-SOFT LIGHT LAYER:
desaturate the opacity!
I also made some more icons, which I will post tomorrow.

Hey everyone! This is my first post on my new LJ. I also have this one -> tia-jl.livejournal.com, but I don't like it anymore. And I like the name of the new one better too. Lol.
I will be posting here my art and coloring tutorials, hope you guys enjoy that, BUT I DO have some rules:
1.CREDIT isn't necessary, but it's welcome.

II. Duplicate your layer, set the layer to soft light, 30% opacity. (If you want, you can also use screen, 100%, but then I recommend taking one additional step:
New Fill Layer- soft light, 70% and fill with E81726
III. New Curves Layer:
RGB: 117, 123 ; 142, 158
RED: 70, 60 (70, 0 IF YOU DUPLICATED THE LAYER AND SET IT TO SCREEN, 100%)!
IV. New Selective Coloring Layer
REDS: -100, 10, 100
YELLOWS: 100, 20, -100
NEUTRALS: 25,15,30,-24
V. Now go to color balance and set your settings like this:
M: 0, 11,0
S: 6,10,16
H: 0,8,10
(DON'T EVEN CONSIDER MAKING THESE TWO STEPS IF YOU USED OPTION 2, SCREEN 100%)
OPTIONAL STEPS I - II
VII. New Hue/Saturation Layer:
Set the main seturation to 15

Duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set to soft light, opacity 70%. (if your picture is too red,use screen 40%)

VI. New Selective Coloring Layer:
REDS: -70, 60, 0, 0
YELLOWS: -100,-100,-100,-100
NEUTRALS:14,0,0,14
